If there is one "thing," one statement, that I think sums me up it would be this; I'm basically a Silly dude that likes to say and do silly things in order to make folks laugh as much as is alienly possible. Yes. I like to write, walk and do just about anything that starts with a w other than waltz (and I could totally be talked into it). I enjoy laughing at people that think the world can be defined and sorted into neat categories. My confidence wavers between "You can't stop me!" to something like "I can't get out of my own way, can I?"

I'm very critical; this often comes off as a lack of respect for just about everything (and there is probably some truth in that. I don't "grant" respect; it must be earned. Or paid for. Or licked. Something.). I've always thought it's important to try and improve things. If something is being done and isn't done the "best way" then let's change it. Basically, I hate tradition for the sake of tradition. This doesn't extend much to people because I like flawed people (is there any other kind?) and I'm self-critical enough (and open to alternatives)so I realize what works for me doesn't apply to all. It's also hard to be liked when you're too critical and I have to admit I want to be liked by at least a few people.

I'm pretty gigantic into sports, semi-gigantic into reading (meaning that I like to read but don't force myself to do it enough)and I like cruising around and looking for lost buttons. Mostly just cruising around though, because sometimes the buttons are not lost, simply wandering. I'm a rather sizable music fan as well, listening to music of the ska/punk/indie persuasion gives me some joy that only cherry coke can top.

Silly emails and ridiculous stories are something I pride myself in, so if you want your mind tinkered with by a silly guy who doesn't depend on drugs or much else to entertain himself, I'm your snail.

I also enjoy kidnapping people/animals and keeping them entertained with my company until a proper amount of untraceable money is raised and delivered to a safe location. That's mostly a weekend thing, though.

I have a penchant for 3" heels, occasional drama, and dive bars with excellent jukeboxes. Jell-O freaks me out, I think mayonnaise on french fries is brilliant, and that Christiane Amanpour has not only the best name on TV, but the coolest job (Itay Hodd takes a distant second place).

I'm new to this whole internet dating thing, but here it goes:

I'm a 23-year-old who has lived in Chicagoland all my life. Chicago is a great city, but if I could live anywhere in the world it would definitely be London. Work takes a lot of time out of my schedule so afterwards I like to relax and take it easy, however, I do like to get out and have fun too. Friends and family are the most important people to me and I will do anything for any of them.

I'm a work in progress. My mien was honed growing up in the north shore of Chicago. I want to find a woman who can show me the pleasures and no strings joy of having a relationship. A long time ago, it was foretold that a great child would be born and the balance between good and evil would be restored. On Labor day, 1975 a woman gave birth to a boy in suburban Chicago and he was not that great child. Bummer huh? But seriously I am someone who can be shy, charming, insightful and funny. I love Chicago and all it has to offer! The dining, music, nightlife... it's all unique to Chi-town. I especially like watching live music (outdoor concerts in Grant Park) and ining out at new restaurants (love sushi and tapas). I also like traveling to other countries and experiencing different cultures and customs... I have lived in The Netherlands for 11 months on business and loved it. I have a "work hard, play hard" attitude toward life. I'm very career minded but I also love to have fun and party... a balanced life is very important to me. I am looking to meet someone with the same interests and mentality. I'm looking for an open-minded, interesting woman with a good sense of humor.

I tend to be a more reserved, introverted person. I'm interested in meeting new people and having new adventures. My friends are great, but we tend to keep to our selves a little too much. I think we all can come across as aloof and judgmental, but really we're mostly shy, awkward, dorky people. This has made it easier for me to not branch out and I'm trying to change that.

I'm a sports fan. I like to watch sports. I care about my family and friends. I am a friendly person who can get along with pretty much anyone. I pretty much enjoy life. I love the outdoors especially boating and water skiing. I love watching and participating in sports.
